Puerto Rico is celebrating the arrival of the Barea Mavericks

  Dallas Mavericks guard Jose Juan Barea came to his native Puerto Rico, on Wednesday to a hero's welcome that included a convoy to pass two hours under the hot sun.
I am proud of what I and my teammates have in the past, but I'm proud to be Puerto Rican to be. Hard work is the key to everything in life,  Barea said about 1,000 fans in the house of Olympic Committee of Puerto Rico in San Juan.
The Barea, 26, was first of hundreds of Puerto Ricans in the ecstasy of Luis Munoz Marin International Airport, including the governor of the island, Luis Fortuo received. Puerto Rico is celebrating, and I'm proud of the opportunity, with Juan Jose celebrate in our country,  said Fortuo.
Barea, who helped the Mavericks to their first NBA title, he said after the warm welcome he received Wednesday afternoon was humiliated. That was an incredible journey. I am very proud to be home for my people,  he said.
After a brief photo opportunity, dared Barea and a dozen fans in the streets of San Juan.
.. It is a memorable moment for all Puerto Ricans, we have a player who is essential to contribute to the NBA championship, that in itself is an incredible achievement,  said Carla Jimenez, a law student at the age of 23, the airport arrived at 7: 00 welcome to Barea.
Thursday, Barea plans in his home town to visit the coastal city of Mayaguez in the west, the other parade planned for him.
